It is less than a week away now and all the training is in the bag, I am spending this last week of tapering doing very light runs and loading up on the carbs. It has been a 17 week journey that is about to hit it climax and I am excited and nervous about the upcoming run.

I have accepted that I may not get below 5 hours for the marathon but that is ok since 2 years ago I was 50lbs heaver and I could barley climb a flight of stairs, I was so out of shape. As I started running I have had numerous improvements into my life aside from the better health.
My whole outlook on life has gotten better I may have even been suffering a depression from the inactivity and doing nothing but sitting in front of a computer screen all day.
The last week has been the easy part of short runs and feeding my face to get the fuel tank completely full for race day. Full write up coming then.
